The Pet TeamThe Premier Nutrition residue-free manufacturing system at Rugeley has been a crucial part of the company's development since its foundation in 1991. It was designed specifically for the pet food market where cross-contamination control and freedom from medicines residues is essential. Highly qualified and experienced nutritionists, Dr Graham Yeo and Victoria Thornber, offer customers round-the-clock technical and commercial support service for dog, cat and companion species nutrition. This top-level team is responsible for ingredient procurement, product formulation, product testing and development and liaison with strategically important suppliers. In addition, unbiased expertise on micro-ingredient addition, independent from sources of supply, provide customers with the most effective solution for their particular factory applications.  Graham YeoA co-founder of Premier Nutrition, Graham has been involved in pet nutrition for two decades. He has expert knowledge of specialist ingredients, processing and nutrient specifications and has been involved in the development of numerous novel products such as palatants, oligosaccharides, natural antioxidants, essential fatty acids, colourants and gum stabilisers. Formulations for treats, complementary foods and complete foods for many species and categories of animals, such as greyhounds, working dogs, lactating animals and cats have been studied. His interest in chemical interactions during processing has yielded a number of improvements to products for dogs and cats. graham.yeo @ premiernutrition.co.uk Tim MouldingTim is responsible for the pricing and management of technical specifications for pet premixes. After receiving a Bachelor of Law degree from Bristol University, he joined Courtaulds as an Industrial Relations Officer and later spent two years with Barclays International. Moving to the animal food indusry, Tim gained valuabe practical experience in the livestock sector and then joined RHM (later Dalgety) where he covered product management, raw material procurement and quality assurance. He joined Premier Nutrition in 1999. tim.moulding @ premiernutrition.co.uk Victoria ThornberAfter graduating from Nottingham University with a first class honours degree in Animal Science, Victoria spent a period of time in Canada gaining some 'hands on' experience in the field of animal nutrition.
