A recent ISO 50001 audit, as well as a Zurich Insurance manufacturing audit have both been successfully completed with high praise from external examiners.
The ISO 50001 audit focuses on energy improvements and year-on-year efficiencies within our manufacturing process where our own team’s commitment to multiple improvements over the past 12 months was rewarded.
The multi-disciplinary team, led by Con Peters, Bev Davies, Hannah Bagguley and Joe Stanley, with support from Scott Proudlock (ABN) and Dan Edwards (AB Agri), achieved zero non-conformations and, in fact, the auditors remarked on how impressed they were with the level of knowledge and awareness of energy usage by everyone they spoke to across both the Rugeley and Fradley sites.
For the Zurich Insurance audit, Premier Nutrition was proud to represent the ABF plc businesses as one of three pilot sites. The audit was focused around continuous improvement and manufacturing performance excellence, with the results helping to structure industry-wide policies of the future.
