PREMIER EQUINE TEAM

Performance, no matter what arena you ride in

Equine feeds come in many different forms that are fed at many different feed rates to a wide variety of horses and ponies.

Innovation is key, but issues such as regulatory requirements, shelf life, justification of claims, and prohibited substances, all impact on product design.

We understand this complex world and its consumers, and can help you develop category-leading products.

FEEDING CHAMPIONS, TRUSTED FRIENDS AND MANY OTHER HORSES IN BETWEEN

Our premixes are used across our customers’ entire product ranges, and we know our manufactured supplements carry the weight of an end user’s expectation for that brand. That’s why delivering quality, relentlessly, day-in day-out is our top priority – not just ensuring what’s meant to be in there is actually there, but also keeping out unwanted undesirables such as heavy metals and prohibited substances.

We listen to your objectives, propositions and target markets then offer advice on tailoring them for maximum success. We can suggest ingredients and nutrients to meet the product proposition then we support you in developing packaging options, labelling and claims, as well as advising on prohibited substances.

UNDERSTANDING AND MANAGING PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES

Rules on prohibited substances are governed by international racing and competition regulators. They are divided into substances banned at all times and those not permitted on competition or race day. A number of prohibited substances are naturally occurring or common contaminants of ingredients used in equine feedstuffs. This leads to challenges for owners, riders and their feed supply chain.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

Premier Nutrition experts have all led, or been part of, technical teams in significant feed and nutrition businesses internationally. They have a breadth of knowledge from the pure science of nutrition to the successful design and implementation of products and nutritional solutions.

We are deeply committed and driven by our tenacity to make a difference by listening, thinking and working in partnership with you to help put nutritional sciences into practice for your equine brands.

Fiercely independent – we do not market our own additives and ingredients into the equine market; we are focused on developing the best equine nutrition for our customers and putting your needs first.
