Our team of leading edge pet nutritionists work tirelessly with our customers to enhance the nutritional performance and profitability of their pet food brands to drive value not only for their businesses but for their customers as well. Premier Nutrition has a rich heritage in nutrition innovation and product development. We are able to develop pioneering pet premixes to help manufacturers and their brands achieve vital nutritional and competitive advantages. This is nutrition, engineered to make a difference to your business and it’s why we enjoy such long term partnerships with a diverse range of pet food manufacturers globally.
We’re passionately independent and focused on doing the very best for our customers by putting their needs first. At Premier Nutrition we don’t stock set or standard products, nor do we have our own brands of vitamins, minerals or other micro-ingredients that we insist on recommending. This independence gives us complete freedom and the flexibility to specify the best raw materials and premix for each diet with the agreed goals of our customers in mind and with optimal pet nutrition always the focus.
In addition to supplying bespoke premixes for pet foods, we also source and supply individual raw materials to pet food factories as required. We are committed and well-positioned to source the best raw materials from around the world.
All raw materials sourced by Premier Nutrition pass strict approval procedures, including a full nutritionist review, before they are purchased. This means customers can have complete confidence and assurance in the quality of supply.
All incoming raw materials are purchased against specifications from certified sources (e.g. FAMI-QS, FEMAS, GMP+ etc.) that are approved by Premier Nutrition and can be traced back to the factory of origin.
Raw material batches are sampled and validated using our in-house NIR system prior to use. This means that all materials are scanned and the results compared to a vast database of raw material scans in order to verify that the material conforms to expectations and is fit for use.
The tumble mixing system used at Premier Nutrition gives complete confidence in the final product. Applying pharmaceutical technology, each tote is filled, mixed and discharged without the use of elevators, belts, blowers or any of the conventional methods that can result in cross contamination.
